Low Tide Bodywork Megan Farnsworth PhD, LMT

Water Words (testimonials)

Watsu with Megan is truly magical. I experienced this as a healthy person and then also as someone experiencing acute joint pain. This gentle warm body movement is like revisiting the womb. Sounds muted, weightless body, gentle manipulation. I would recommend this to everyone for the soul, body and mind. It's truly an hour of uninterrupted peace.
To me, water has always been magical. Watsu, especially when done by someone as intuitive and skilled as Megan, just enhances that quality. With her nurturing support in the warm water, I feel safe on all levels. Being weightless allows my body to move through the water effortlessly and tension is released. Pain subsides. Flowing through the water feels like a lovely peaceful dance. It is truly unlike any other form of body work I've ever experienced.

My experience with Megan's Watsu sessions is one of total surrender and deep trust. The combination of floating in warm water and Megan's Loving Care is pure sweetness. As an adult, I've never felt more safe and able to relax. It's like being in the mother's womb. Give yourself this gift.
This is another worldly experience. The pressures from the water allowed me to release more of my spirit. I felt very safe and warm. This allowed me to explore a different way to grow and find peace.
I want to let Megan know that I appreciate the time I spent with her in the water. It's been difficult to put to words but I have never felt so much acceptance and compassion for myself. I think I may have a strong resistance to allowing my feelings and thoughts to come and go freely. Watsu allowed me to embrace a lot of my pain and a lot of peace at the same time. Thank you so much for the healing. I will be back for more.
I came to Megan recovering from a severe trauma to my sacrum and a slipped disc that resulted in severe sciatica. The Watsu therapy has been extremely beneficial to me. The water holds and supports me as she guides me through a series of gentle stretches and massage techniques in the water. It is really amazing! I find myself more open and relaxed after the session and able to cope with stress easier. The energy of the movement and the water is extremely healing. Megan really is a master at her craft.

It's hard to translate my experience but I'll try... WATSU with Megan was a profound experience for me! I came seeking more comfort in my body and with some past negative water experiences, and I found healing. I was able to tap into powerful imagery and positive memories that continue to bring me peace. Throughout my WATSU experiences I felt very supported: by Megan, by Water, and by all sorts of forces (physics? the cosmos? higher powers? biology? ancestors?) bigger than me.
After the session, my joints felt well-oiled and my knotted muscles were released. The water massage was almost dreamlike. In fact, I think I was in a light sleep when you told me it was over. It was honestly the best massage I have ever had.
Across from Mount McLoughlin on a rise above the town lies a pool of warmth so inviting. Bodies of Southern Oregon finding rest, comfort and movement of ease in Megan's capable supportive arms that invite tension and stress to dissolve. May you all be so lucky to experience Megan's treatments.
